Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

The Iraqi Journal for Science applies a transparent Article Processing Charges (APC) policy to support editorial management, peer-review processing, publication, and indexing-related services.

  1. Standard APC (Iraqi Authors)
  • A publication fee of 350,000 IQD is required upon acceptance for manuscripts of up to 12 pages.
  • This fee includes editorial handling, peer review administration, proofreading, formatting, publication, and plagiarism screening.
  1. Additional Page Charges
  • Manuscripts exceeding the standard length (12 pages) will incur an additional charge of 15,000 IQD per extra page.
  1. Conference-Related Submissions
  • National conferences: A fixed APC of 500,000 IQD is applied for accepted manuscripts submitted through national conferences.
  • International conferences: A publication fee of USD 350 applies to manuscripts associated with international conferences.
  1. International Authors Policy
  • The journal provides full APC waiver for international authors, encouraging global scientific contribution and collaboration.
  1. Payment Method
  • Payments are accepted in cash only at the official office of the journal located in the Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Baghdad.
